Are you ready for the perfect card to have in your stash? This flower Cricut slimline card is beautiful and easy to make, it will work for so many occasions. Happy Birthday, thinking of you, get well, congratulations and a few more. It’s sweet, simple and timeless. I love the floral designs because they are flowers that just make people smile and bring joy. It’s always good to have a few cards on hand like this, that you can easily send/give.

Slimline cards are super popular right now and I love them! They are fun to decorate and look great. If you want to create a slimline card in Cricut Design Space, then don’t miss out on my how to create a slimline card in Cricut Design Space  I show step by step how to make a slimline card with Cricut and the Design Space file. Also you can purchase already made slimline cards too.

How To Make a Flower Cricut Slimline Card

Start by opening up the Design Space file for a slimline card template. I like to save my card templates as Master files so I can always find them to reuse.

CTMH Backyard Bliss Digital ArtFor this floral card, I’m using the super cute CTMH Backyard Bliss Digital Art.  All of these florals are two layers with a few details, but super easy to glue together. The fence is also from the Backyard Bliss collection and the sign is from the Candid Moments collection Candid Moments Digital Art

if you purchase the Backyard Bliss Digital Art from the Close To My Heart Shop, I will send you the Cricut Design Space file for the card. In the file I have included 5 messages for the card.

One of the best things about the CTMH digital Art is that it can be used with any cutting machine that uses SVG files.

Next choose the base paper for the card and coordinating card stock colors for the florals. The base paper I chose is from the Mixed in Paper and then I like to use as may scrap cardstock pieces as I can for the card. Choose any colors that you like for the card.

Pull all of the paper for the card, then cut all of the card design with the Cricut Maker/machine. It has to be a Cricut machine that can score (if you are creating the card base too).

Creating the Flower Cricut Slimline Card

Step 1: Glue on the base paper to the slimline card

Step 2: Lay the flowers and stems across the card, when you like it.

Glue on just the flowers with 3D foam tape and make sure the flowers are above the fence.

Use 3D foam tape to add on flowers

Step 3: Glue on the stems

Add on the stems under the flowers

Step 4: Add the fence rail along the bottom and slide it under the flowers.

Slide the fence rail under the flowers on the Cricut card

Step 5: Either add twine or ribbon to the sign or just slip it under the flowers and glue it to the card.

Add on sign to the card for the celebration

It’s super easy and takes only a few minutes to make for the cutest flower card ever! Remember just add the correct sentiment to the sign for the occasion either using stamps or writing with the Cricut pens. Always have a few on hand in card emergencies because people will think it took you forever to make.
